Hobbies/Interests: Camping, hiking, and reading books.

Pets: Bentley, a Boxer, and Lucy, a Shih Tzu Poodle mix.

Favorite Thing About Job: I enjoy educating clients about diseases and how best to care for their pets.

Favorite Hospital Memory: A young puppy came in as an emergency that was very sick, and we were not sure he would make it. We hospitalized him for a few days, and he ended up pulling through. Two weeks later, he came in for his puppy vaccines.

Dr. Larry Fleming

Hobbies/Interests: Woodworking, cycling, camping, theater, and landscaping.

Favorite Thing About Job: Maintaining a good relationship between pets and their owners.

Favorite Hospital Memory: Every time a new puppy comes in, it makes the rounds throughout the clinic, so everyone gets a chance to hold it and hug it.

Hobbies/Interests: Hanging out with my family, reading, and walking the beach when possible.

Favorite Thing About Job: Keeping pets healthy to maintain the human-animal bond for as long as possible.

Favorite Hospital Memory: How our team has come together to work through the pandemic. This has been very challenging, and they have gone above and beyond. I am so proud to be a part of this family.

Favorite Thing About Job: Having a positive impact on the lives of patients and their families. I love the wonderful staff we have at Marina Bay; we are truly a family.

Favorite Hospital Memory: I love seeing our staff taking such wonderful care of their patients and seeing the smile it puts on their faces when they get to send home a happy and healthy pet after coming in for treatment.

Favorite Thing About Job: I love getting to help my patients and clients. Whether it?s through routine wellness appointments or illness, building a relationship with them is great.

Favorite Hospital Memory: When we were able to learn a new procedure as a doctor team and use it to treat one of our patients. She did great after surgery, and it was a great team bonding experience.

Favorite Thing About Job: I love our morning rounds. It?s great to see the team come together each morning, share their knowledge, and do so all so we can offer the best care to our patients each and every day.

Favorite Hospital Memory: I loved surprising the team with Christmas in July. We do team appreciation events all year, but this was such a fun surprise for everyone. We had indoor snowballs, bingo, an elf hide-off, candy cane hunt, gift exchange, and more. We even had a tree (it was inflatable)? so much fun!

Favorite Thing About Job: I love talking with clients and helping a sick pet in need. Being a part of that treatment makes me feel really happy that I could help the pet feel better. I love being around animals.

Favorite Hospital Memory: I have had the opportunity several times to take a pet in need of a home to receive care and treatment and either keep them in my home or help them find a forever home.

Favorite Veterinary Memory: In school, I was working with a shelter dog.? From the first moment I saw her, I thought she was amazing. As we worked on her, she seemed to favor me.? By the end of the week, everyone could tell her to “go to mommy”.? I ended up adopting her!

Favorite Veterinary Memory: C-sections are always a unique and rewarding experience.? I once assisted with an emergency caesarian on a puppy who was stuck in the birth canal and we were able to save the entire litter of 6 puppies.

Favorite Thing About Job: I enjoy being around animals and care greatly about them. My favorite thing is personal playtime; it?s a great way to bond and comfort dogs when they?re away from home? plus, the extra TLC makes them feel good!

Favorite Hospital Memory: A client rescued a dog who was having severe skin issues. My coworker and I were able to give him a medicated bath. It took longer than usual, but with patience, love, and care, we did it! It feels amazing when you help a pet. For sure, I know he felt much better after that bath.

Favorite Hospital Memory: When we had a dog come in to board with us for the very first time, and he was so scared, but after a couple of days of staying with us, he came out of his shell and was happy and playing! Now, when he comes into board, he is so excited to see us, he runs in with his tail wagging!
